C. Lynne grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania listening, learning and singing along with family from the time she was born. She won a talent contest for singing Cher's "I hate to sleep alone" in the sixth grade. Her life took many paths and careers but always included singing and playing the guitar. Songwriting came later as hard times brought out the need to put words to the music and that was how her frist album 'Real' was born.
Having no background in recording music she set out to create her first album in her home studio at a time when it wasn't the 'norm'. From writing, setting up, singing, playing, recording, mixing, mastering and producing the final package C. Lynne managed the impossible and produced a much sought after 1st edition CD.
A prolific songwriter and multi-instrumantalist C. Lynne has yet to be cornered into a single genre. Her music comes from life and it doesn't all sound like a country song. Her subject matter ranges from love,to hearteache and anger to peace and war within and without as well as our awareness of our humanity & the earth.
C. Lynne perfroms in the NJ, PA, NY and DE areas. She has opened for The Outlaws and Jonatha Brooke, played on the same stages as ....All 5 songs from her debut album 'Real' received airplay in both the U.S. and Europe. She has been featured on WSTW Hometown Heros93.7fm, WCFA 101.5fm cape may and Cruisn 92,1fm radio stations.
Currently she is working on a new album comprised of over 20 years of song writing. This album will take a departure from her Country roots lending itself to a Folk Rock Acoustic exploration.
